Local business field guide

St. George businesses, researched one at a time

These are not copied directory profiles. Each feature explains what the business actually does, who it fits, who should keep comparing, what evidence we checked, and which questions still belong in the buyer's hands.

Published features

We started with two Southern Utah businesses whose official sites contain enough public operating history, project evidence, and decision-useful detail to support a real article.

Why there is not a page for every listing yet

The portfolio currently contains duplicated names, stale data, placeholders, institutions mixed with businesses, and listings that only repeat a phone number and category. Turning that feed directly into dozens of pages would create the kind of unoriginal scaled content Google says it can demote.

  1. Deduplicate the entity across the portfolio.
  2. Confirm the official business identity and live contact path.
  3. Check direct sources and real evidence, not another directory's summary.
  4. Write original fit, non-fit, comparison, and hiring guidance.
  5. Publish only when the page stands on its own without the outbound link.

Use the guide as a starting point

A feature is not a permanent guarantee. For contractors, verify the current Utah license and insurance, compare written scopes, and read recent reviews. For restaurants and retailers, confirm current hours and location before going.
